Snydacker will play a set of saxophone modern saxophone music based on ancient concepts at the University of Chicago’s Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures. The program will include the world premiere of Brian Penkrot’s “I am Yeast” for baritone saxophone and electronics, as well as Philippe Leroux’s “Phonie Douce” with Andrew Nogal (oboe) and Isidora Nojkovic (cello).
